The garden railway is looking great Steve but with the clocks soon to go back I think it must be about time you posted that 2mm membership form:)

Cheers Rob :) I'm hoping next year the planting will be all sorted....

I reckon Simon was thinking ' This DCC lark is alright, can't see why that Cookie blokes stuff isn't running'

Hi Jerry, hadn't realised you've made it onboard, a belated 'Welcome' from me :)
Surely it can't be renewal time already :D Still haven't read the last 2mm mag either, brought on all sorts of distractions last time round :D

Already a member, good man - come and make yourself known in 'the lounge'. The coming long winter nights should result in something to run on Tucking Mill at LarkRail next year then!;)

There's a lounge, blimey, that'll teach me to go to the home page and just click on 'recent messages'

Um, the picture has rotated 90d, just like an up and over garage door.

Don't watch TV John, so not seen it....still unsure how it applies to the photo
Never mind, its Sunday and the sun is shining (again), it isn't really the time for surfing the net...:)
Cheers

Enjoy your ride John, its definitely the weather for it judging by the number of cyclists I've passed this morning :)
I've just finished the shopping so will fire up the steamer, then get on with ballast stripping on the end to end whilst the suns out...Is the start of the much hoped for summer.....

Not too bad, just under four hours to strip all of the remaining ballast and eat a bacon and egg sarnie :) I think leaving the ballast for another winter certainly sped the removal up, I need to consider which approach to take next and use the intervening time to fettle the current alignment and levels. Looks strange...
