Saw this on 'That Auction Site', RRP is £105, it was open to offers so 30 smackers got it posted to me !

It's 1:43 scale, all complete and there is a rigging kit available from Mantua.
Something to enjoy on cold winter's evenings, that is if the misses doesn't divert me :D.

I’m a) jealous, and b) really surprised it‘s 1/43 rather than 1/48.

nice catch!

There are a few 1/43 scale boat kits available from Mantua

Although this kit of Achilles is not really of the correct era for Bow Creek, it's American for a start and was built in 1815 as a pilot boat, but I thought it wouldn't look too out of place as perhaps a small ship tied up in the creek awaiting repair.
I do have the plans, drawn by David Metcalf, for the Thames coastal sailing barge 'Celia Jane' which I'd like to build eventually. The plans are to 1/2" to 1ft so I need to get these copied to 7mm/ft, with the finished model coming out at 630mm in length.
