Last minute, I have set myself the challenge of building a complete engine within the two days in Scale7 to prove that S7 doesn't need to take an age..

Wish me luck, but I'm quietly confident.

JB.

Well, a small tank loco without valvegear might be doable from a simple (Connoisseur?) kit. So I'll pop by on Saturday to point and laugh admire progress... :D

See you then,

Steph

Good luck mate, it's entirely possible but I'll bet you'll get your ears talked off to slow you down:)).... and you'll have to dodge the paper jets, incoming, from across the isle :p:D

Well I went, bought a couple of bits of dark side stuff and tested my new camera.
Frankly, I'm not surprised that JB has revealed a second career as a contortionist, but I am amazed at his decision to make it a part of his model-making and everyday life...:

By comparison Col seemed to be much more thoughtful and a little less of an exhibitionist...:

All in all a good day with lovely weather and decent beer. At least I wasn't exhibiting this year!

Good to see you Steph, I think I was contemplating when I could escape for my next coffee:)) ...... had a good day and hopefully helped a few guy's who were starting out in etched kit construction judging by the number that sat down in front of my table who rediscovering a desire for model railways not seen since their childhood .
My recommendation was for a kit from Big Jim so he may see a rash of orders soon.
