AmeraLabs test print - A useful 3D test print to check the capabilities of your printer.

This is a test print from AmeraLabs AmeraLabs - high quality 3D printing resins which can be used to test the capability of your 3D printer.

Important - please note this is a compressed stl file. The original was over 20Mb in size but by using 7-zip to compress the file it reduced to 4Mb is size. A useful reduction which helps minimise any hosting costs.

here are my results from a Formlabs 3 printer with standard black resin.




looks like the mechanics is not as good as in your test print, lots of visible stripes perpendicular to the building plate. On the other hand, resolution wise, the form 3 is still OK. Both hedgehogs look OK compared to your example. Please note that I printed it with a 35° slope.

Certainly no longer state of the art compared to modern 4k and 8k machines, but not so bad keeping in mind that the whole thing is only 30mm wide.
