Steph, the instructions are quite comprehensive, there is a tripple punp, preheat and then up to 4 and to 12 , but by that time it is just going too damn fast

Aah, right. Mind you, a quick tune up with the SPROG or LokProgrammer is probably all that's needed. It might still be a bit fraught even if you know which CVs to play with...

Back to the ole' trial and error I guess.

A test on Heyside is probably in order sometime, but I think top speed is still way too high.

Heyside is now back together after the post-Manchester upgrades to the infrastructure. A month of hard and successful work with nothing visible to show for it! If you want to come along to play with test the Western/sort the CV settings, you are very welcome.
