Something I really should have done to check fit before I sent my tender chassis artwork off for etching:
For anyone who might be interested, the HLK Miniblox measure 1/8" square and my revised slots 4mm x 5.5mm. Visible in light grey is the kick back from the frames to simulate the inner brake rods and improve the appearance of the tender from the rear. Light grey because the jpeg/bitmap export from QCAD has rendered the overlapping magenta of the outer rod and the light green of the 'inner rod' as light grey. This was unexpected because in the QCAD application the light green was in front of the magenta. The equalising beams and brake rods/blocks/hangers have all been beefed up for this iteration.
