Thanks for the interest. I have been thinking about this, and realised that there is no real digital record of the station anymore, after the 2009 and later loss of images elsewhere beyond one or two scatterings on FB groups so, as I have several more gathered and saved - I didn't keep overmuch earlier days, and a hard drive collapse some years ago lost a lot more, so rather than add them to the spasmodic current thread I think I will post a separate layout one concentrating on it alone in a day or two. A case of watch another space soon...

Not much happening recently but have managed to spruce down two pairs of Rapido's welcome interest in pre grouping rolling stock - their CR and LNWR vans. Here they are on their first time on rails the other day.

First time behind a camera for months - again for a FB theme week. Complete loss of motivation this last year but pleased to say I'm back at the workbench again. Anyway, couple of the Small Bens getting fed at their respective home sheds....

Hot off the press - BR 77xxx on its first photo shoot to find all the flaws the eye misses. A hotch pot of Bachmann bits - 82xxx tank upper boiler and smokebox and cut back 76xxx lower boiler and cab and an old Mainline tender, it being the only type I had around. It has various flaws/ shortcuts but if you apply the 3' rule it just about passes muster. Now back to the bench for a final fettling.
