Spend an evening with Simon George who will discuss his “New Approach” about the different ways he plans on exhibiting the layout and the general progress of phase 2.
Simon will also talk about what he's trying to achieve for the whole project.

The event takes place on Tuesday 26th May @ 20:00 BST.

The event is FREE to members or £3:00 for non-members.

You must register for this event as places are limited. Registration will open on the 27th April.

IMO to add context it would definitely be worth mentioning "Heaton lodge" and "Britain's biggest model railway" in the adverts.

Ironically I was hoping it was a new approach to small O gauge exhibition layouts. Never mind.

I hear what you are saying Chris, I don't know for certain (so this is pure speculation on my part, as all I do is copy the announcement from the Guild home page), but I suspect that with this being Simon's second talk on the subject. That there is an expectation that interested parties will already be aware of who/what he and his layout are.

I hear what you are saying Chris, I don't know for certain (so this is pure speculation on my part, as all I do is copy the announcement from the Guild home page), but I suspect that with this being Simon's second talk on the subject. Granted, but it does potentially lose some new visitors to part 2.
