Oh bugger. Anyway that typo is I think on the old website. The new one has different text completely. Just waiting on the provider to make the switch now.

We are in the process of completing the acquisition of John Firminger's Signature Railway Kits LNER B16/2 (or B16/3) and LMS Fowler 2-6-4T models. Hope to have them in production in the New Year, subject to satisfactory sourcing of parts.

Hi,
Will you be marketing the former Signature kits Southern Railway Queen Mary bogie brake van?
Many thanks.

Many thanks for your reply. Signature kits do seem to be rather elusive on the internet.
Mark
Since I last posted, John has kindly offered to let us have the artwork for the Queen Mary. If we sort out castings we will make it available.

Trisha and I will be away for the first two weeks in October. Although our sons will still be at home, we will be unable to process orders. It is also extremely unlikely that the phone will be answered. Apologies for any inconvenience.

We have discovered that a batch of our GL70 Schools kits have been produced with the rivet etch detail on the smokebox front incorrectly represented. We have contacted those who may have bought an affected kit online. If you bought one at a show, please check the smokebox front to see if it has the correct unbroken ring of dimples for embossing the rivet detail. If it is incorrect, please contact us for a replacement.

It's the usual hectic pre-Guildex kit packing nightmare, but just time to say that we expect to have most kits in stock bar the L1 and Stanier Lemon tanks.

The bad news is that I am still reeling from the latest bill from the etching company, so regrettably we will be increasing prices after the show.

We are in the process of changing phone numbers. The new number is:

07376 678949

The current number will work only for a few more days.

This is a fall out from BT's decision to abandon the traditional network. As a bonus, it is going to save the business about £50 a month in phone charges.

We plan to be at the Guildford Trade show on 23 November, but will be taking very limited stock. If there is anything you want, please let us know and we will take it with us. Following last year's debacle it was uncertain whether we would attend this year, but decided to take a minimum sized table and chance it.

The development of the LNER Q7 has progressed rather more swiftly than expected and we will have that available next year. This means that I need to get my finger out in respect of the LNER O4/8 and Stanier 3PT both of which are waiting on test builds and instruction production.

Also in the pipe line are the Urie S15 and the limousine cab version of the Fowler 4P tank. We are also having the ex Fourtrack kits for the J21 and J25 redrawn to modern standards.

Busy, busy, busy..............
