Well, an apology at least would have been in order but there's some acknowledgement of your work which I and most others recognise is considerable. I agree though - at the very least it's annoying when there's no acknowledgment. The situation is compounded many times over when an image is used in two books, as one of mine of the Blue Pullman was. I was attributed copyright but I was not asked if it would be OK to use, nor was I given a copy of the books in question. The background to that one is quite complicated and not for discussion here.
Fortunately, as I've said previously, my experience is that members of this group are respectful of copyright. Usually if unsure of the origin they say so.
