I note that you favour the Oxford comma before 'and'. It is unnecessary in this example.:rolleyes:

I disagree. I don't think its use fits the definition of an Oxford comma, as it wasn't used in a list of three or more items. It was used to emphasise that while in common situations pedantry can be useful, sometimes it can be of massive importance, maybe to the point of averting disaster. Commas were inserted where there would be a pause if the sentence was spoken.

Do we? Not really following what's going on in the world, I haven't seen any announcement of when they are changing, but I had a feeling it might have happened by now. All my clocks seem to be showing the same time, and the time seems to match up with what's going on with the world, but I haven't changed any of them!
