Starting to look busy on shed, the midland side measures 2’ 6” x 3’, it’s a bit of a western take over so far. Still lots to do yet including disguising the back of the shed to make it look like it continues on.

It’s the pits! But good pit kits from Intentio Model Railways. 5 made up and installed today on the western side of marches road.
We have the coal / disposal road, the ash road where the crane is ( needs a few dirty 16toners ) then the ready road, The ready road usually had a low mileage top link Castle, County or modified Hall on standby ready to cover for any failures, then shed road 4. I’ve run out of rail now so need to go shopping again!

I’ve got a few from Duncan’s models to add as well.

I’ve got the brick on and in base coat and the corrugated ready but first I need to dig out my drill bits to drill out the round hole window then it’s the roof and the vents to add plus some steel work ( plastruct ) plus lamps and signage. So all in all loads more to do.

Some ballast today on the Haskins Hill board in between assisting with the wiring on Westbourne Bridge!

Jon has done it again, signalling makes a layout and this is a special piece based on the sighting board that was at Dainton but modified to suit our position on St Stephen’s

After reaching an important milestone in my studies recently I treated myself in the Rails of Sheffield sale to a Heljan GW railcar. This will definitely have to be sound fitted and ModelU passengers installed oh and a good dose of dirt.

Norton St Somers is nearly ready for me to take over, a barrow crossing and some station lamps to add them it’s with me for scenics.

That may have been the painter sent by Swindon to paint the station chocolate and cream that’s met a gruesome end

Bolted the Haskins hill board with the embankment board today up on the trestles. It’s great to see it at a proper height. There’s not many layouts where the scenery is taller than a grown man. I can now continue with the ballast in a few weeks time.
