I'm so pleased that I made the decision to model in Scaleseven. This is my first outshop, a LBSCR C2X. It's from a Meteor Models kit that I first built 20 years ago. I've added more detail and rebuilt the frames completely with wider spacers. It's very nearly finished now, it just needs a crew, some coal and weathering although there are probably a few other things I haven't noticed yet.
It's running well with pick-ups on two loco and two tender axles, is fitted with a Zimo sound decoder and makes a glorious sound. I have a huge soft spot for bog-standard locomotives.
I don't claim to have much in the way of technical skills so I have to really concentrate on this kind of stuff. I'll probably ask a lot of questions as I go along, but I know that this is a friendly place
