London Tilbury and Southend

I was about 50 yards east of the Minories road, actually despite the proximity to the tracks the hotel was fine, and having the minories pub yards away was a definite bonus!

I've come across some more photographs, this time taken by my dad but the quality isn't too good. All are taken at Shoeburyness.

Interesting stuff. I'm puzzled by the nearest wagon in the image above. It has a curve top to the ends? It looks like a large steel mineral, but I'm not sure. Can anyone shed any light, please?
