Forgive my ignorance, please. You say these have been re-tooled. What are they made from? I have clearly missed something important. I couldn't find any information on the website.

The kits were originally only available in 7mm and had cast white metal axle boxes. They now have a HD 3D printer top with brass 3point rocking sub-frames and brass brakes. Also on the original kits you had to assemble the bodies form both cast resin and etched brass parts. These are now single piece blocks.
