My new Heljan 48DS has been disassembled after an extensive running in on my rolling road and now runs very slowly on DC. So out with an in stock decoder and stay alive, a few tweaks using DecoderPro, then back to default and it creeps along very nicely. The stay alive is the main reason, without it the four wheels can't deliver the juice, as I tried it without the stay alive and it was stuttering all over the shop. They say Lais chips are not that good, but this one runs very nicely indeed when coupled with their stay alive's.
