Returning from the wilderness

Hello all, I used to visit here a few years back but for reasons unknown I drifted off into the wilderness. Yesterday at the Andover MRC show I came across a fine little layout which was just up my street, this being Old Parrock. On return home some research on the layout led me back here to Western Thunder and I was reassured to see it is still well up to scratch! I promise to try not to drift of again.......

Thanks for having me back, I should perhaps warn all here that I am a modelling butterfly. How so? I have a small garden railway of 32mm gauge on which I run stock to both 7/8" scale and 16mm (representing 18" gauge & 2 foot gauge.)
Then there are the various indoor gauges 0 standard gauge, EM (Light railway), 00 industrial and of course 009!

So you have been warned!

For myself I've spent the last few evenings catching up with happenings here, gosh haven't you all been busy.

John Bruce.

Thank you for that lovely comment about Old Parrock John, and welcome to Western Thunder.

Welcome back John to this forum, by the way are you the JB who had a small US HO layout a few years back? Can't remember what it was called.
We all love photos here ..
Cheers Julian
