However, to be getting on with, some kit building I have started. This is a 'Lochgorm Kits' HR Drummond 0-6-4T 'Banking Tank'.

It will be fitted with a Premier, double reduction, helical, gearbox and Cannon Motor driving off the rear driving axle. The front and middle axles are sprung, with the middle axle having both up and down vertical movement and the front, down only. Pickups are via PFS sprung plungers on all the driving wheels.

This little gem, 'Jazzer' actually, found its way on to my work bench. An Agenoria kit and presently residing in preservation at the Severn Valley Railway Engine House.
The owner wanted it 'as preserved'. Premier Models mini gearbox and small (Mashima type replacement motor). Lining is a mix of modified watrslide lining and a bow pen.

Exiting recently from the paint shop is this Peter Drummond 'Banking Tank' designed for the HR to shove the heavy summer trains up 'the hill'. During quiter times they could also be seen on local passenger and freight services.

The kit is from the Lochgorm range and although a 'blow up' from 4mm scale it has been modified well to 7mm scale.

The only modified departure from the kit I have made is to convert the Slaters buffers to be 'self contained' using the system described by John Birch in a recent edition of the GOG Gazette.

Don't you just love this isolation stuff? No interruptions to model making!!!

Just emerged from the final fitting out shop a Seven Models GWR 2884 class N0 3855 in war-time livery and a Ivatt 4F goods engine.

The Ivatt is a scratch built engine by A N Other that I was asked to finish off, and provide a MOK tender to go behind it.

I have changed the title of this thread as we are no longer in 'isolation' Yippee!!

This is the latest items that have appeared on the workbench.

A HR 'Lochgorm' tank built from an ex Agenoria kit (now with Ragstone models but not available at present as it is being upgraded)
It has been sent to the 'Findhorn Railway' on the shores of Lochness as part of the locomotive fleet operating that model railway.

Part built is a Bagnall Standard 16" industrial "Florence No. 2" from an old Impetus kit.
