It may just be a function of old age and incipient senility, but having been a member of the S7 group for somewhere North of twenty years, I seem to recall we once had an on-line forum. Does anyone remember what happened to it and why it disappeared?

I recollect that the forum was hosted by a supplier... and drifted off into the ether.

Have I missed having a forum dedicated to S7? No.

How could I when we have Western Thunder where S7 is accepted and where there is so much else to enjoy and influence our modelling?

The Forum was hosted and administered by Bill Bedford but following some form of database loss c2013/4 it became unavailable and Bill did not restart it.
As the current S7 Webmaster, I have received a couple of messages on the subject of introducing one but we are very well-served by the S7 subforum here on WT where non-S7 members and modellers can also contribute. Diluting or duplicating postings seems, perhaps, a backwards step.

Spot on, just as I see S7 modellers contributing to and benefitting from Western Thunder.

That seems a rather agressive reply - I only asked what had happened to the old forum. A closer reading of my original comment would show no suggestion of wanting a new one.
