After briefly being able to get back on, and part way through saving a post WT died for me and I've not been able to get back in for a couple of hours. As an alternative issue, I seem to regularly get a message saying that some kind of resource limit has been reached, and it won’t then load the next page. This does not seem to be a local issue, and only occurs on WT.
anyone else?
Yes I got that this evening, had to leave it for an hour or soAs an alternative issue, I seem to regularly get a message saying that some kind of resource limit has been reached, and it won’t then load the next page. This does not seem to be a local issue, and only occurs on WT.

Unfortunately I'm seeing it as well - just intermittently. I'm constantly checking my cPanel stats, it's not the forum software or email accounts this time. So I don't think it's the Western Thunder hosting but something else on the shared server, maybe being bombarded again by hackers trying to find another way in now I've shut down the fs@westernthunder account. As an alternative issue, I seem to regularly get a message saying that some kind of resource limit has been reached, and it won’t then load the next page. I only get that occaisionally, and yes just for WT. A quick page refresh usually helps. As an alternative issue, I seem to regularly get a message saying that some kind of resource limit has been reached, and it won’t then load the next page.
Other vacuums are available....
And I have been naughty, too. Finally succumbed to one of these, recently....

Yep i'd be up for that...Maybe we should have a whip round for @adrian I understand there is a mechanism to donate to keep WT going, but I don't actually know what that is.

Another non-railway forum I use has started to have major problems recently with huge numbers of AI crawlers accessing the site as guest users and sapping resources - they regularly have 15,000+ guests, whereas the number of concurrent real users is less than 10. I guess it could be something like this affecting a shared hosting server although you'd need the hosting company to investigate if this was the case.Unfortunately I'm seeing it as well - just intermittently. This AI crap is going to be nothing but big trouble to this planet !Another non-railway forum I use has started to have major problems recently with huge numbers of AI crawlers accessing the site as guest users and sapping resources - they regularly have 15,000+ guests, whereas the number of concurrent real users is less than 10. But, Colin, great in areas such as medical research and treatment, look at the announcements in the last couple of days about the progress made on prostate cancer diagnosis. This AI crap is going to be nothing but big trouble to this planet !
