Well, sort of success I suppose. This is etched into black coated aluminium. It is the correct size of 4.2mm sqare (I believe). Whether one would be better off printing the image I produced above, I don't know.....

Layout looked good yesterday Martin. You were all engrossed with the lorries or crane each time I walked by and didn't want to interrupt to say hello!Do pop by and say hello we are on stand 56, very near the cafe.

Thank you, kind of you to say so. Just interrupt us next time. We had a good show, a bit warm, but so was everyone. I was very pleased with how all the moving things worked all weekend, only had to give one loco a light wheel clean because the dust the lorries wheels deposit on the rail as they drive over.Layout looked good yesterday Martin. Thank you Bevis. I cannot claim responsibility for the traction engine, that is the work of Giles, he brought it along as he and Di were helping us operate the layout over the weekend and very welcome they were, making it a great time.I too enjoyed seeing the layout at Railex but, similarly to alant, I didn't want to interupt the concentration.
Particularly impressed by the traction engine and the overhead crane work.
