Overview
The locomotives that will run on Pencarrow will be based on those that ran on the Wadebridge / Bodmin North / Wenford lines. As such I've identified the following core motive power as all being suitable for this project:
2-4-0 Beattie Well Tank 30587 - as used on the Wenford mineral...
Is anyone interested in etches for Big Big coaches replacing the molded ones, they work out at £9.00 per coach and come on a fret containing enough to do 4 and a half coaches worth. If your interested contact me via PM and i can give you more details.

Should the Ratio 4-wheel GWR coaches be gloos or matt? I'm not exactly sure. I tend to think things look better matt or satin, but should the brown or cream (or both) technically be gloss? I don't know.
Any help would be appreciated!!
This was one of my Christmas presents from Emma. I have always fancied building an MOK kit and this seemed like a good starting point, a chance to practice on something before the 9f comes out. There is something about these engines, even if it's that they are just ugly. I also felt it was time...
I'm very happy to report that Fred Phipps is making good progress with the master for what will be a resin cast body for the ubiquitous 12T BR van.
Looking good for fertiliser deliveries to North Cornwall in 2016........

As promised a workbench thread to chart the kits I am working on since skipping a gauge and going to 0 Gauge
Excuse the state of the work area, I do know which kit each part belongs to. So we have three kits here. I will cover each in turn

I have wanted to build an MOK kit since I first saw an almost finished build of this kit running at a Lincolnshire Poachers running day, way back in 2010.
Anyway this is the FS version of the kit, a version in S7 is also available.
Opening the box reveals a number of packets, icluding lots...
A few weeks ago at the S scale Autumn Meeting, I swapped a Mike Williams G3 wagon kit for two 1/32 scale wagon kits. The kits were a combination of underframe kits and one piece resin bodies with work being started on one of the underframes. Both kits are of a GWR two-plank wagon - not very...
I started this project in geoffs 7mm Workbench, but created this new thread to attract as many of you as possible to answer the many questions I have.
but first a recap:
Hello,
Finally got round to making a start on this a while ago and on some photos of Gresley coaches there is a horizontal pipe that runs along the solebar. Would that apply to this coach running in the BR period up to withdrawal?
Alan

There latest kit using high quality resin castings is a Nuclear flask, they are considering a Class 14 Teddy Bear using the same high Quality Resin making for an easy to construct highly detailed kit.
One of those satisfying creatures, a returning client, asked me if I'd care to take on a project he'd started but felt unable to complete. Of course, I agreed. After a spot of negotiation, I was entrusted with a large box containing an almost complete Churchward 4200 class 2-8-0T, hailing from...
This is another personal project to fill some space on my demonstration table. I've had this Scorpio Models Crocodile G 35 ton Trolley in the stash for some years, so I thought it might make a pleasant build for a weekend.
My aim is to produce a somewhat weatherbeaten example in BR service late...
Do you know your Bullieds from your Maunsells ? Your 4 COR's from your 2 BIL's ??
Just Like the Real Thing are looking for knowledgable people to help them out to hopefully produce a series of kits for the Southern Enthusiast coaches & EMU's
Something a little different on the workbench for me at the moment a Gladiator G5 which is to be finished in BR livery as one of the last G5's to be shedded in Leeds. I am building this for a friend who is too busy with other things to build it himself. The kit originates with George Norton and...
Several people I know have sets of 1/32 scale etches for the ubiquitous Southern PMV, one of the most widely travelled Pre Nationalisation vehicles on B.R. - I personally saw one on my train to Kyle back in 1974 and photographs of them in service are very frequent right up until the 1980s...
As I have (just about) finished the tank wagon and 16 ton wagon I had a choice of starting an 08 shunter or the brake goods.
Having decided on the 08 shunter I fell at the first hurdle. I folded up the inner frames and tried to solder laminate the strengthening pieces with the resistance...
As you might have seen at Telford, JLTRT are to produce a limited amount of wagons in RTR. The first being the Dog fish & Cat fish hopper wagons, they will be available in a variety of liveries and options.
The first batch should be ready for the reading trade show.
These will be followed...
