In fairness, it reveals the lovely weathering job on that bothey(?) .

Thanks!! It has turned out pretty well if I say so myself.I'd forgotten how much I like the idea of the inside of the ruined building as a view blocker. And how much I like the rest of the layout come to that!

Not a bad idea except, the boot of the car is full of photography gear and footplate clothes...that there isn't space for in the flat..Have you considered utilising the space in the boot of your car for a covert layout? You might get away with it until the next big shopping trip or weekend away, at which point there would be some explaining to do ("I was just moving it for a friend and……….").

Absolutely. I found a few lengths of Peco 124BH flextrack I have had for ages, and won't use, and donated them to him for his first O scale layout!..... as long as you enjoyed yourselves and your son's mate retains his interest. One more potential convert to O scale.
