Damn!
I was there on Sunday but unfortunately I wouldn't have recognised anybody.
Perhaps some sort of easily recognised badge or sticker would help?
Secret handshake?

I just want to add my thanks to all who exhibited, and agree that the standards were high.
It was my first time seeing Ditchling Green and East Lynn Quay.
Watching the chain shunt on the latter was a treat.

I would like to say a special thanks to the Rye Sands builder, who amazingly didn't have a beard!
I have watched his postings as it progressed but seeing it in the flesh was a treat.

Did we speak by Mrs Wilberforce’s house?

Nigel
Hi Nigel

We probably did as I went back there a few times and chatted with people when I went to view it

Sorry , a missed opportunity to have a chat

When I was there two years back , the only other Dubliner there was one of the Uckfield MRC members but didn’t see him this year

For those who might be interested there were two awards made over the weekend.

Firstly there was a visitor poll for a Best in Show. Results were:

1) Janes' Creek (EM) by Andrew Browne
2) Flintfield (P4) presented by Adrian Colenutt
3) Les Caves du Roy (H0) by Matt Strickland

Then there was the exhibitor/trade/member poll for the Keith Nock Memorial Trophy. Results were:

1) Flintfield (P4) presented by Adrian Colenutt
2) Janes' Creek (EM) by Andrew Browne
3) Les Caves du Roy (H0) by Matt Strickland

In both polls, voting between the top three layouts was extremely close with second and third choices being taken into account.
