My mojo is flagging a bit as I wrestle with doing the handrails on the outside of the Toad, perhaps stupidly I thought the wire that came with the kit was too small a diameter, so I decided to use 0.8mm wire, it looks better but............................ it meant drilling all the brackets, no real problem, but it did make them more fragile and they are rather small. 5 went flying into the carpet and only 3 were found, so made a couple up. the problem with the thicker wire is making the bends in the correct place. The problem with the brackets, the ones that fit in the slots provided, they are fractionally too, big so have to be filed down, which is why they started flying around the room, My fingers have never been over dexterous and with old age and a touch of arthritis dealing with the small and fiddly is increasingly difficult. I suspect when it is finished the side I'm doing at the moment may well look as though there has been some collision damage. Hopefully when I start on the other side I will have learnt some lessons and be able to apply them. At the moment I am taking a break from it for I fear I may do substantial damage to the rest of the model in my frustration
