Hi Alan, those are very nice pictures in the RM. A good example of O gauge in a relatively small space.

Hi Alan,Thanks for that info about transfers Mike, all I need now is a sideways photo of the wgon in BR days.
Ah got it now Alan - pop-up as in pull-up rolls. Thanks.Osgood, sorry I don't know your first name, As it says in the article I used a polyester material that people use in those pull out displays that you see at Exhibitions. .....
I wondered what the arrow was pointing to and first thought your name was "post". Mind you I'm reading on an Android phone and didn't see the signature until pressing the "desktop" option. I suspect Alan may also not be seeing signatures.Ah got it now Alan - pop-up as in pull-up rolls. Thanks.
Sorry, I put name in the small print below to make sure I didn't forget it (not my name, putting it in the post....) but it doesn't show up well.

Dear Tony Post,Surely these glimpses of Blackney warrant glimpsing on something bigger than a phone screen?

This is a P17, but shows the same livery I would think, Reading 1965. Script lettering possibly remaining GW or if not GW style?

A reference of numbers.
There is another v poor photocopy of a P 18 in an article, which observes that they also appeared with the funky rather large green triangle that the Southern Region (I think) put on their pw wagons, recorded as black with straw lettering at Ho Jct 1968 DW30924, this also has ED, E bigger than D on the next "panel" along from the Number and load.
Happy for anyone to use these pictures, please credit them to David Hyde if shared.
