Those last pictures looked so much like the landscape around Bilson Junction.

You just needed a Berry Wiggins tank wagon or two to complete the illusion.

Especially in the 50s & 60s, judging from photos. There has been a lot of replanting done since then.

Progress has been delayed on the Nippy a bit as we had a visitor for a week but some progress was made yesterday.
As yet deck and cab not glued to chassis and still some other bits to do.

Hmm, I’m not sure about that cab.

I don’t like to be a downer on things, but the kit cab looks very flat and wide compared to a real one. The Thornycroft radiator is characteristically tall and narrow.
