A triumph mate from what I can see   the build videos are great as well and the finshed results behind the G5 look great. What's next in the etching que ??

Thanks Mick

When are you down next ?

Two shots of the two Thompsons so far. I've yet to finish the simulated paint finish on the brake 3rd. Quite a difference from the first shot on page one of this thread eh ?!

Not sure what's next in the etching que, do I find something simple like the bogies, or go for my first engine kit that I've been working on already...??!

Looks like the engineers have occupancy of the up line as she's working wrong line on the down :))

Now who could we find to do a photographic background  eh JB

Now then Mate,

They really do look different to the start of the thread, cracking job   If you'd have stuck the G5 on you could be propelling atock on the right line  :)) :)) I've had my pass stamped for the monthly meeting on the 28th so fingures crossed should have my G5 ready for a test run, I don't have a DCC chip, is this a problem. Will you be there on the 28th ??

For those who are contemplating the etch bogies, I have posted some photographs of an assembled bogie with JLTRT solebar / bolster castings to the "Another JLTRT Gresley - another D114" thread.
