I see that KM1 are selling some of their remaining stock of locomotives. No special prices, but a nice selection of V200 diesels.

Temptation got the better of me! Ebay.de Spur 1! It will need a complete repaint, tyres turning down, new correct 10 spoke pony truck wheels, (Wilgro at £3) a set of Beckert loco plates and weathering before being put in the Bw scrap line. A bargain at £155?

Nice, there are bargains around if you wait patiently enough, if it's going on the scrap line then why bother with pony wheels, just leave it there with out them, just adds to the general dereliction scene I would of thought.
Take the glazing out as well and pull all those stamped connecting rods off too, just leave the crosshead and piston rod, maybe the expansion link too, the lamps would probably be recovered as well.

A definite bargain.
I'm looking at an 89 to do exactly the same thing. It's noticeable on these that there is little moulded on detail, thus making improving the breed rather easier. It's full circle really....back to where I started by detailing (4mm) RTR. What fun

Last week saw us end up at Allan's for some German G1 playtime. Not very sophisticated as the 'layout' was an up and down straight track along a brick wall in the garden, but great fun.
We took a few snaps to record the occasion, and I have some video to process which I will do later.

Hi Gary,
The E94 came from Hubner. Marklin took it over, but I don't think it's been released yet. The coaches are Marklin too.

If you are tempted with an E94 have a look at the German eBay site under Spur 1 lokomotiven, the Hubner model is often offered for sale at attractive prices.
My experience of the Marklin coaches is very good and again eBay is a very good source for them. Some coaches have interior lighting and other gimmicks but generally all are value for money, here are a pair
The left-hand vehicle is a pre WW2 composite and the other vehicle is the equivalent of a British BSK.

Does the BDüm-61 scale out at 26.4m (82.5cm) as it looks a tad short next to the AB4ü-38 Schürzenwagen?
I believe it's an AB4ü-38 Schürzenwagen built in 1938/9.
