Yes, I have ordered a new one: V7 850 Special in pearl dark blue.


I test rode one at the Guzzi Club Scottish Section rally at Falkirk a couple of weeks ago. By the time I got back to the camp site the rumours had gone round that I had already bought the one at the back of the shop with a 'Sold' sign on, and two people made me offers for the bike I had at the rally (V65SP)!

Reminds me of my student days when I did ‘Hay and Harvest’ on a local farm during the summer break. The combine was very much smaller and the hay bales were rectangular and had to be loaded by hand. I was fit as a fiddle and brown as a nut then!

It was also 'fun' being on top of the loaded bales on the trailer trying to stop a more than inexpertly load falling off.
And don't forget the joy of burning off the stubble, taking your T Shirt off and returning to retrieve it only to find a charred bundle.
