Working in 4mm and 7mm today, finishing off a little RailArt kit alosmgside painting the coaling stage

Another coat of dirt on the coaling stage plus some nice skirting board to dress the diorama.
Looks so much better in the sun.

Beefing up the bridge that gives the layout its name. Slater’s rivets and an RSJ adds a more industrial feel.

I think the Forth bridge is a bit like the Grand Canyon. You stand there, you see it, but you don't really realize its sheer size.

... until a tiny toy train passes the bridge.

I have seen a T scale model of it, at a Bristol Show a few years ago, even at that scale it was massive.

T scale layout made it to ModelRail Scotland in 2017, not only the bridge, but also North an South Queensferry were modelled. Very impressive.
