So, after a substantial gap of time in doing anything on the grain store...

It's all now in primer!







Seeing it in context with a chair shows the size and bulk of the building.

I recall you use styrene for your slates. May I ask how you prevent warping? Perhaps use of limonene?

Yes, 10 and 15 thou plasticard and attached using Limonene and a stiff brandy...

Note to self...

Wood wash first, then silver grey wash, then blobby drags with German black brown and dark grey.


And these were the rusty roof colours.

Yes, it's proving to be a sod to paint. At nearly 1m long it's not easy to handle and I need to clear more space on the work bench!

Amazing how quickly the building starts coming alive when you start adding some colour.
