It occurred to me that if the slope down to the goods shed was extended to make a side uploading platform, it would be a useful adjunct to the goods facilities. For instance, unloaded heavy farming equipment.....
Funny you should say that. The guard rail I copied had three supports, so I've just soldered on an extra leg...The whole scene is looking very nice, Larry and really says 'Llanfyllin' to me.
If I may offer one, very small and insignificant piece of constructive criticism, which is that the old rail guarding the weighbridge is rather long to only have the two supports, perhaps an additional one in the middle may have been called for? (unless, of course, the prototype is like that!).

diddle-iddle-iddle-umso I've just soldered on an extra leg...![]()

Thanks Nick. A loco comes and goes constantly while re-checking the electrics during scenery building.I can only echo what others have said, Larry: the scene looks excellent.
So when do the trains arrive?
Nah, it's a sleepy Welsh backwater. There's only one train a week and you've come on the wrong day, SirI can only echo what others have said, Larry: the scene looks excellent.

Hey up, it's not that sleepy.....Nah, it's a sleepy Welsh backwater. There's only one train a week and you've come on the wrong day, Sir

Okay, change "week"to "day" and "day" to "time"Hey up, it's not that sleepy.....![]()

That really looks the part, Larry. The positioning is just right.I kind of like the brick buildings as they are, but I'll have another look at things when the layout has a lot more scenery.
It's not stopped pouring down for two days, so very little's been done to the layout. Planted a few bushes to help make the backscene part of the layout. An extra support on the guard rail can be spotted through the railings.....
