Spot the mistake?? I didn't, thanks to roger Manton for pointing it out!!

I had to change the new steps for the original as they fouled the bogies, pity as they are superb castings.
I've filled and filed the front end down ready for the small yellow ends.
Did you see it? I put the bogie castings the wrong way round !!
I need some silver paint for the wipers then it's off to Fred but this may be some time away yet.

The ATC earthing Rod end is the wrong way round, I have corrected it. The cylinder on the end is vertical in the picture it should be horizontal to the wheel centre.

I've put the new plastic corrugated sheeting on the roof of the railway room today and have given the western bogies another coat of paint.
I've ordered some Tamiya masking tape some white under coat & some warning panel yellow.
Might just give it a go my self.image.jpg

The hymek first up a new yellow end, I'm quite pleased with this as it is my first crack at re spraying a front end.
Only problem is I pulled an etched number off and lost it, So I hope Chris at Severn mill has a sympathetic ear!!

And the western again a little typing up with a sharp scalpel should do the job. I just need to add all the little front end details.

Here they both are on Old Oak Approaches.
New warning transfers on the hymek both need weathering now, the hymek is going to be done by Roger Manton as he did it originally for the previous owner and I only want it blended in like it was.

Thanks I think so two,
Roger is a friend of Petes and does help out on the stand along with his wife Ruth at certain shows.
I think he was weathering a heljan 31 at Kettering

I'd better get stuck in and snip some bits off these then!! You'll have finished Ranelagh Bridge before I've caught up with OOC approaches
I think most of what I need is there....
