Blimey  I have been working on a commission for a row of town houses and in the interests of science I blew it up to 1/32.......
the door is at road level but even so it would be a good 2ft including the roof .

I think you're becoming addicted to the smell of burnt MDF!

Great work, keep it up.
I do get through a lot of mdf. Im going to have to invest in some better storage so I can grade the off cuts, also some better and quieter extraction, I have been cutting acrylic jewellery this afternoon and that wiffs a bit ;)

Edit forgot the picture. ill do 5 different lockup designs which will be interchangeable
Hopefully I can do a test build this weekend

My plasticard bridge pillars have been out all this winter as an experiment, fine so far (but too early to tell really) , but UPVC has been used successfully by others on a longer term.

I think the heat is the biggest problem. Simon asked about buildings and I suggested he talk to you :)

Cynric,

I get the feeling that the brickwork in the infil should be English or Flemish bond for strength, and Phil's pictures tend to back that up. A single thickness stretcher bond wouldn't be too stable at that height - you could probably push the wall in with a light tap from a Transit. :)

But looking very good otherwise.

Jim.

A lot depends on location, my bridge is in a sheltered position which doesn't get too much direct sun, but I don't think plasicard would fair too well in direct sunlight, but UPVC is fine anywhere

Consul GT in Copper brown :) could do with a Transit as well.....

The up-sweep over the rear arch makes the model look like a Cortina... and with the box headlights then probably a Mk IV.... surely?

I thought that the Consul name died out in the early 1960s, aling with Zephyr and Zodiac... or was the early Capri actually a Consul Capri? Memories... now what was the name of the saloon with the V4 engine?
