Hi,
We've now picked up with the scenic work after the picture interlude. It seems ages since we worked properly on the layout, and it probably is as we have been outside most of the summer.
We're continuing with the work to make the backscene buildings more 3 dimensional, rather than being cut off at the ridge line. Jim G has kindly provided some laser cut roof tiles which arrived this morning, and were mostly used up by this afternoon

It is a big roof, and I underestimated the number required
We're going to have some repair work to the front wall, we have some sash windows to install, interiors, and the downpipes need replacing and collectors adding. the chimneys are already made, and Clive is busy weathering them. We of course have to replace the end walls with newly carved Depron, and my task today was to start the process.
This is the far end - the near end will need advertisments or perhaps some cinema posters, suitably distressed (hello Tim....)
It was really nice to be getting back to some scenic work.
