we've seen what happens at Liverpool Lime Street.

Due to incompetent stacking of heavy containers near the retaining wall.

We spotted that one of the houses was in a dangerous condition and starting to lean. O'Scanlon and his gang came to the rescue in the nick of time...

Just need some period warning signs.

Regarding the 1950s/1960s roadworks lamps, I actually have two red ones and a yellow one in my garage. I keep meaning to take one of them to an exhibition where Alan Buttler/Modelu is attending, so as to get a scan done, but usually remember just as I'm arriving at the venue!

Every so often, Heyside acts as a test track for repaired locos. One such occasion was today, when Tim appeared with a Masterpiece Models Duchess. I was asked to take a video so the owner can see progress, and here it is.

Folks won't be surprised to learn that when the 'People Carrier ' started to move on the Heyside tracks the chat of the assembled multitude ceased! Whether in awe, wonder, or shock I will leave it for the reader to decide. We had never seen anything like it on Heyside tracks....Will it ever return ??

Steve is quite right that there was a stunned silence as the railbus purred out of Heyside platform. But I thought it was wonder and awe at the silky smooth power train. Once the driver had managed to release the handbrake that is...

Allan sent me a Heyside photo today that I thought deserved a wider audience. He likes to focus on the railway infrastructure and environment rather than have an engine/train as the obvious subject.
