The Bachmann body is very accurate, dimensionally, if somewhat lacking and crude in some details. I built a BR Standard version of the 4 mm DJH kit and found the cab to be too short, particularly the width of the door opening. My solution was to split the etch and stretch to door to make the cab length correct. This did mean the door opening is now too wide rather than narrow and a replacement roof was required.
Thanks Dave, yes I'll be using canopy glue but still have to get the windows something like to hold in place whilst the glue sets. With etched cabs, I usually cheat by simply fixing the glazing to the inside surface, so the actual size and shape isn't too critical but that's not possible here.
