That pretty much wraps this year up in terms of customer commission jobs. Early next year I’ll be back at it hopefully getting the box tunnel diorama completed first. I’ve got some interesting projects in the pipeline and my own Canton project to finalise and plenty more to keep me busy on St Stephens Bank.
Excellent skills, yet again Steve. The natural light really does it justice; well done. I look forward to the next 'project'.

Regards, Rob.

The midland side of the shed had the power feeds connected up today ready for delivery tomorrow and we even managed to find a midland loco, meanwhile over at St Stephens I’ve replanted a lot of the trees removed during transit, 60D1C171-3E7E-483B-BCB3-71C9C9349F80.png010F602E-1BC1-4F2C-90CC-BE46A2E51A6D.jpeg

Most of my modelling activities have taken A break during the festive season but I’ve framed up the first of the prints that will be mounted on the fascia of St Stephens Bank.
A few more MBR trees have been ordered for the man planted forest.
May I take this opportunity to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a productive new year. 9A48BC23-341F-4701-BBB9-FC1AEBC657BB.jpeg

As my teenage kids are out I’m musing layout ideas!
This is a cross between Ranelagh Bridge and Camden shed, based in London but using metropolitan railway infrastructure as an excursion stabling point, a bit like how Neasden shed was used for Wembley stadium sporting events, this would allow locos from anywhere to rub shoulders. Would make a nice fairly small layout ideal for exhibition use with some decent movement.2A731BFE-7B1C-4530-9D0A-B2EC6BCFC8DF.jpeg4B64AFEB-5020-48C0-BD57-2DEB73970DE6.jpeg

That's a variation of 'playing with trains on the carpet' I've not seen before!! :)

It’s been quiet on the modelling front over the festive season and I’m eager to get back at it! I’ve framed up a few travel pictures that will be mounted on the fascia of St Stephen’s bank once painted black. I’ve always liked Railway travel posters and these will hopefully add to the atmosphere of the layoutF767B648-5F23-4381-93E5-D6BDD9802475.jpegF767B648-5F23-4381-93E5-D6BDD9802475.jpeg

Layout signage arrived, I’ll mount this on the fascia on Thursday as Westbourne Bridge is being collected this week so an extra trip to Bristol is required, also arrived are the last of the station figures for Norton Saint Somers from Dan Evason, these can wait until the sun starts to shine in the spring time.
