Hymek heading a Brighton train at Severn tunnel, I'm starting to make a version of the Severn tunnel to Pilning car ferry service using a redundant 70 foot coach under frame. I have a pair of GWR 9 foot US bogies for it. I will ask Phil to laser cut me a deck for it and I need to make up the trussing. It's not a scale model more of a representative.

Hi Steve,

Firstly, What a great Diorama. Very skilled at what you do.
Secondly, This is not a criticism, Just a Q. Why have you coloured the lower tunnel mouth grey ?, on the top picture of the mouth, it looks the same colour as the top part, just blackened by the kettle smoke.

Looking at some of the other pictures it does look like different colours, I just thought I could best replicate it by painting it two tone.
I'm going to keep hold of the layout and once I've built up enough stock take it to a few exhibitions
