Good point, my previous post was based on Mickoo's earlier post of the brake rigging only.The bogie frame shape, being outside frames, so not Watercart would suggest to me the origin is Urie. Pre grouping would suggest H15 or S15 or N15.

I'd guess the same - Johnson Compound 8-wheel 4500 gallon bogie tender.How about Midland Railway for compound number 2632?
Midland Region 3 cylinder compound, one will be 2632 I believe. I may opt for 2634 with the flat footplate, mainly to cover both variants in the class.
That's a negative on two counts, I don't get to choose the prototype, the man with the coin does, and if they opted for that.....what ever it is....I'd of declined, sometimes you just have to say noOh dear.....
You should have gone for one of these Midland locos and kill two birds with one stone - bogie tender and US influence...![]()
