With the strong likelihood that the layout will actually appear in front of the public next year. The last two structures are currently on the workbench for finishing. Including the completion of this window display of childhood dreams in one of the shops.

Based on photos of a common design of hoarding seen around Hull for many years. These have recently been completed and added to the layout complete with posters that set the period of the model.

Which one? There's 3 different sets in that window that I created. Each with the Hymek. Though only the blue one. I had the yellow version.

Currently on the workbench. This will be the last structure to be added to the layout. Just leaving the vehicles, figures and details to add.
Probably a good thing as the layout will be at its first ever show in less than 6 month time!

Thanks to our friends down the M62 who were kind enough to offer. We will be premiering the layout to the public at the Normanton & Pontefract Show in January next year.

It will be ideal show to find out if we still work too as it was 2019 last time we took a van sized layout to a show. So as exhibiters and operators we are much older and well out of practice.

Has to be said I am also way out of practice at filling out quotes for show invitations too! So much research on van hire costs is happening at present! Scary!!.

Once we know the the layout travels well and both it and we don't break down under the strain we will consider exhibiting it further.

Well spotted!. It is indeed the PRMRP kit. Like so much of what we do its a group effort. One to assemble , burn fingers and swear a lot, the second to paint and number. Followed by a third to ruin and devalue it with weathering before it's ready for service.
