Careful hand weathering of both rails and sleepers helps disguise it's origins.

Is this a crop of a photo? I'm more taken by the two coaches on the right parked on Station Approach.

The livery looks like Boddy's of Bridlington, United Automobile Services (which also served North Yorkshire) or Yorkshire Woollen District.

It's a Yelloways Coach.

I have a whole collection of bus and coach pictures the photographer (a late neighbour of mine in Brid) took in between trains!

To be honest you rarely saw Boddy's coaches in the station coach park. They tended to drop off, pick up and park at their office and garage in nearby West Street. They did similar at their Morrel Street Office and Garage in Hull.

Thanks, Yelloways was fourth on my list but didn't think a Lancashire coach would venture across the border.

The station approach looks like where express and day trip coaches parked up.

This bus and coach collection would be worth a thread in its own right - especially if they are from the same time period.

Radiator coolant, I think. A very common feature of the weathering of Derby type 2s, but other types as well.
