For all you WR fans, cop this!

I lived in Teignmouth in 71 so may unwittingly have seen this service as a young budding spotter;)

Get ya wallets out chaps:thumbs:

I may grab a few of these, don't know why, just always liked them, much like I've always like Parcels or Mail stock.

Addendum,

Found another little gem, y'all like this ;)

Interestingly this train is not heading to or from the ER but a WR only run, maybe they pinched them from another service?

On looking further down the Flickr 'selection' there was a series of photos by Brian Mosby of a maroon 4mm set that he built from the Southern Pride kits, complete with transfers. Perhaps Brian could let us know who did the transfers so that an approach could be made for a 7mm version?

cheers

I think Dick's on a winner with these. I hope so. Magnificent vehicles, no interior, quick to build.

Now, if someone can come up with a pic of a maroon set just to the nort-east of Manchester.....:)

For those who don't know Brian, he goes under the name of Mozzer Models on RMWeb.

These will come complete with transfers, Dick has done them as well!

Brian, you have a lot to anwer for... me thinking of a blue/grey NPCS? Never! However, I spoke to Westdale this morning and reserved a kit for Saturday. Some info that might be of use for those teetering on getting one:-

* Westdale has 20 kits for the weekend. The transfers are livery dependent and so are not packed in the kits, need to specify maroon or blue when purchasing.

* For the nit-pickers, the GRP roof lights are in two variants... arranged diagonally within each roof panel or arranged on the centreline (across the vehicle) of each panel. This link shows the two versions end to end; the vehicle in Brian's original post has the staggered / diagonal roof lights.

* side/roof is an one-piece aluminium pressing, ends are resin, car well is an etch, bogies are in the Wayoh style.

Richard,

the link in Post 26 is enough, just ignore the OHE and think Class 40 - on a diversion round the Oldham loop - job done:thumbs::thumbs:

I'm still struggling to fight off a Rule 1 application event.
Do not struggle 'cos you shall succumb.

My justification is the BR Dia. 1/133 Carflat which arrived as a Merry Krimble present last year, poor thing is kind of lonely.

To be truthful, the decision became a no-brainer when some evil-WT-er posted the link to a pikkie of a Wizzo with 6 on at Westbury.
