Departmental wagon update.....

Got round to varnishing it last week, at lancer1027 (Rob's). Its been up on his shelf for over a year gathering dust





The varnish was still wet when i took the picture. Just needs a subtle bit of weathering now.

I got Railtec-models.com to make the transfers. I will find the email out, give me a few days mate. if you look on their 7mm transfers, they do some now.

Just a little update ....

I was searching through my boxes of railway stuff & found my SPV's, & I found Mr Mojo hiding in there too !! Lol. I grabbed him quick & bought him back into the house. So I started the PS102. Think this one is going to be a Blue Spot Fish van.....

I have added the sole bars too now. Trying to find a prototype Blue Spot. Not many pics to choose from. But I do like the one on EM Gauge 70s website.

Rather than blue spot you could always build ten more in various shades of blue to have a train... as in my photograph taken at Aylesbury in the late 1970's

Tidy that. Interesting to note that there are two styles of lettering in the rake, vans four and seven from this end appear to have an additional row of "white" in the left hand panel.
