Just a few more photos that for some reason wouldn't load the other week, being a pensioner I can't afford colour film so you will have to make do with these :)

The 'Toad' is the old Peco kit with additional detail, and the 5 plank is an old Coopercraft kit modified to represent one of the batch taken into the RCH pool, and fitted with RCH brake gear, the tarpaulin rails were removed at the same time. I'm not claiming it is accurate as the history of the ex GWR opens is a minefield, I'm happy with it though so that is all that matters.

Goods trains usually arrive in the siding loop so I must have set the road incorrectly.

I've copied this shot from a similar photo that appears in one of my Bradford Barton albums, can't remember the real location off the top of my head but it's somewhere in Mid Wales.

I do like good black and white photos and these are very good.

Thank you Alan.

It might just be me, but colour doesn't capture the atmosphere of the fifties and sixties, or the fine detail like B&W does.

Geoff

There you go with those inspiration bombs again;)

Well as long as they hit certain modellers on here, and lead them into 7mm temptation I'll be happy. :D
