I can understand that the layout / punctuation of Jordan’s post may have caused an air of ambiguity.
I chose to interpret it the way Jordan intended - well I had no reason not to.

But I can see how - at least initially - you might have thought it was linked to your previous post (I too have posted a couple of cartoons that I think I may have found on your ‘the other place’).

I believe all of us on WT have a responsibility to give others the benefit of the doubt before jumping to conclusions - after all, why on earth would any of us have any reason to be disrespectful to another WT member?

And we should cut anyone at the back of the class some slack As they are missing out on some serious educational opportunities.

I, and I’m sure others, would be really pleased if you can see your way to acknowledging your misunderstanding of Jordan’s post, restoring all the posts you have deleted from this thread, and removing the one I have quoted above - which I will then remove.

We can then all get back to the serious subject of Humour.

Yes it was worded unfortunately, and I do tend to be rather sceptical about the meaning behind some comments.
I didn't realise that the second line was supposed to be the joke !

As for deleting posts, I can't see the point of leaving cartoons on the forum for any length of time, once seen after a couple of days nobody goes back to them do they ?

And on reflection I agree with you re. putting back the old cartoons, they are after all ‘of the moment’ - far better to have some new ones!

I never understood why he said that, it’s back to front.
