Cheers. The layout is in effect presented as a model of a back street urban scene with a railway in it. Not the more usual model of a railway with an urban backdrop.Love that scene, so much to look at and somewhere in the background there's some trains too...
I invite myself to shows, never been "told off" as most exhibition managers are looking for new layouts and are glad to be informed.
Has anyone from GOG asked you to attend a show with this layout . If you were at Guildex this year that would possibly persuade me to go and it's a long flight , 20 plus hours .To be honest we have had offers of invites from the early days of the layouts construction. We prefer not to be in the position to have to rush and compromise the layout for the show deadline. The idea was to have the layout and ourselves to be a good level of exhibition readiness before it was let loose on the public.
The layout isn't 100% done as there are still some stock and details to add. But we hope the Normanton show organisers will be pleased with what we have to bring to their show.

You've certainly achieved your goal. The layout looks superb and the added details really bring the scene to life. I hope very much to see it in-the-flesh some time. The layout is in effect presented as a model of a back street urban scene with a railway in it.
The only improvement, in my view, would be more WDs. Mind you, any layout would be improved by more WDs.
Dave.
