How many Blue Spots are you doing Steve ? & are you going to finish them as BR blue parcels vans or as fish vans ?

I'm doing 2 at the mo. One at Robs & one at home. After ive been to Rob's and attached bits to one, I go home & get upto same stage with the other. Its the way i get to learn how to do it !! 

I'll pm you over weekend mate, bout ferry vans.

Only update Phil, is that theyve both had another coat of paint. Time (work hours) & weather hampering progress. The one without the top straps needs rivets in the roof. Then its time for the chassis & roof to be painted on both.

This one has the straps on the roof, & has got a white undercoat, with the side fading.

These two pics are what i'm using for my reference.

Rob (Lancer1027) has some plastic studs to use.

Just an update on the Parcel Vans.....

They're just sitting on Rob's (Lancer1027) shelf for the winter. They have been sprayed BLUE, one needs the rest of the roof studs doing & if roof painting. Both need the chassis & brake gear painting. Then they will be ready for transfers.

How will you sort out the studs?

Sorry took so long to answer your question. Not been on my workbench for ages.

I measured along the top of the roof, to how many studs are req. Marked out, then made the holes & dropped a pin in each hole.
