How’s that MikeHi Brian,
what is the colour ref (RAL) for the light blue on the Sheerness scrap wagon please - it seems very similar to the Rea Bulk Handling blue for W H Salthouse,
the Drewry 0-4-0 153hp diesel shunter that Connoisseur have in their catalogue and I am very tempted.............................

Hi BrianLong time no updates from me So this is what I have been doing recently, building a Heljan diesel depot kit and back dating a Heljan 50 to original spec. The 50 was done with some etches from Vincento on ebay. I have also been adding a few details to the shed as it's a bit plain as bought.

It's in camera straight away after it takes the required number of pictures so you see how it did straight away which is brilliant. It's a Canon R7 with a kit 18-150mm lens that they do for a complete cheapish setup.Very nice, does it do focus stacking in camera, or through the software?

It was with a lot of trepidation that I cut the old doors out Jordan but it just had to look better with them recessed in rather than glued on the front. Thankfully it all went ok. But yes the yellow did need masking off and re-painting. I masked either side of the stripe and brush painted the grey in.Always liked a white-stripe 31. I don't think it made them go any faster, though.
I chickened out of replacing the nose doors on mine, despite getting the Pete Harvey etch set, as I didn't want the hassle of a total repaint of the yellow ends.
Haven't really been away as I look on here daily! Modelling has slowed down due to looking after the old parents these days. That was brave Brian, but does look good.
It's nice to see you back with us.
